30. How to stay in good health when traveling Nepal?

While traveling in Nepal, you can maintain your health with the consumption of organic fruits and vegetables. In city areas, you are advised to put on masks to avoid air pollution. Moreover, you can drink bottled water and hygienic foods. You are also advised to carry portable water purifier with you at all times during your travel. One other factor that massively affects the health of an individual is the pace of travel. A trekker is advised to heed the instructions of the guide and maintain a steady pace, especially in high-altitude traversals so that they do not become victim to Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS).
